A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast (LLB), Anne- Marie was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature in Northern Ireland in 1987.
Anne-Marie heads the firm's Family Law Department which is at the heart of the private sphere of the Practice. There has been considerable growth in the administrative and public law aspects of this crucially important area and Anne-Marie has been at the forefront of providing representataion and advice.
She is a member of the Northern Ireland Family Proceedings Rules Committee. This body is made up of the Lord Chief Justice, Judges and Masters of the High Court Family Division, County Court Judges, two senior members of the Bar and two senior solicitors of the Law Society. It is charged wth amending draft Rules.
She is also Chairperson of the Childrens’s Law Centre in Belfast. This organisation was set up in 1997 to help young people, their parents and professionals who work with and understand laws which affect children.
